Dining Recommendations

Chef Galo Molina creates a fine dining experience at the Olde Richmond Inn, a renovated historic mansion. Selections include apricot glazed pork chops, grilled orange roughy stuffed with crab, and fettucine alfredo. We sampled the french silk pie and raspberry cobbler for dessert.

Take the National Road (US 40) east out of Richmond and head for Centerville, Indiana. Be sure to stop at the Candy Jar, a locally owned candy store featuring homemade fudge and cute frogs, their version of a caramel and pecan turtle.

Continue on US 40 into Cambridge City. The Lakeview Restaurant serves home-cooked selections of beef, chicken and seafood at reasonable prices. They'll even give you food to feed the ducks on the lake behind the restaurant. Be sure to save room for their homemade fruit and creme pies, especially the peanut butter pie.
